Sarah Foy Design
The Dress: Each of Sarah's creations is a one-off design, produced exclusively for the individual bride. Sarah provides a personal service, beginning with a private consultation to discuss style and fabrics. She works on a one-to-one basis with the bride to include their dreams every step along the way. We discuss your requirements – the type of wedding you are planning and your own personal style are all taken into consideration. This makes one of the most important aspects of any bride's wedding day also one of the most enjoyable.
Designs will be sketched up and fabric sourced from an array of suppliers. When you have a design selected, measurements are taken and your own personal pattern is constructed. A mock up of your outfit will be made to access your fit and shape. Adjustments can be made to the design before moving forward with the final garment.
With the pattern perfected and fabrics selected the final garment is cut and made up in our Clontarf studio. At each consultation we examine the fit and adjust accordingly. The fittings also allow the bride a feel for the dress and its style before she makes her debut on the big day.
At the final stage of the creation of your dress - the small but exquisite details are added. Hand made covered buttons, beading detail and detailed lace work are all done by hand - create your one of exclusive gown.
Accessories: With the overall look of your gown in mind we have created a bespoke accessories service. The details for your finished look can not be overlooked and at Sarah Foy Design we have endeavoured to help create accessories to complement your one off designer dress.
All our veils are hand cut to match your dresses silhouette. You can choose the style and finish to suit your taste. By matching your gowns colour we can sculptor a fastenater head piece to complement your outfit.
Unique “cover ups“, such as boleros and shawls can be custom made to blend with your design. Silk ties for the bridal party- the possibilities are endless.
