Our Interview with Apprentice Contestant WILL McCREEVY
To say we are going to miss the gorgeous Will McCreevy from our screens is an understatement, now that he has been fired from The Apprentice on TV3. But thankfully we get the feeling that he won’t be out of our sights for too long!
Having entertained us for almost the entire series, Business Development Manager Will gracefully accepted his fate last Monday night, magnanimously citing how both the girls left in the competition were deserving finalists. Aaaww…. Smart, gorgeous AND sweet….has this man got any faults? Well….according to Bill et al, his apparent lack of communication skills were what ultimately let him down at the last hurdle but he lasted until the week before the final and we think he rocked! So anyway, we caught up with Will to find out a little bit more about the man who Bill thought had bags of potential for someone so young.
Q: Will, what brought about your decision to apply for this years ‘The Apprentice?’
A: My family, they have always been the motivation for me in everything i’ve done in life
Q: Did you enjoy the experience?
A: Yes, I thought it was unbelievable
Q: What was your ultimate highlight from the show?
A: Top Sales man, sold ¾ of the overall amount of the other team, Task 4. Portugal trip was unreal too.
Q: Was there anyone in the house you simply couldn’t stand? (Go on you can tell us!!)
A: Nope, I can call everyone up in the morning no problem, I got on well with everyone
Q: Who did you lean on for support in the house?
A: Niamh Mc Donald was my side-kick
Q: What do you feel you learned most from the experience?
A: How to deal with other people in an extremely high octane environment, and I learnt even more about Bill
Q: What are you doing now and what ambitions have you for the future?
A: I’ve started my newest company www.hiremiddleman.com that helps people and companies get back on their feet, that are struggling with debt or their business is not performing. If it doesn’t go to plan I’d hope for health and happiness for me and my family, in the future
Q: We hear that you are a rather stylish individual and we have eyes - god bless us - so we can certainly see that you ooze a certain sophistication on screen, but how would you describe your personal style?
A: Firstly, thanks for the compliment J, I think my sisters will agree that my style can be very erratic at times. Whatever mood i’m in, I could wear a shirt and jeans the next a hoody and T shirt.
Q: Would you describe yourself as a modern day metrosexual or are you more of a ‘whatever I grab will do’ kind of bloke?
A: Bit of both, I don’t enjoy shopping for clothes. I go in with a list of what I need and that’s it. Whatever’s ironed, comfortable and keeps me warm gets the nod
