But when she isn't trying to find a man (for ten weeks straight on Take Me Out on TV3) or rubbing shoulders with Calum Best on Celebrity Salon, she is also a busy comic actress - who has just won the role of lead supporting actress in a new feature film with Patrick Bergin called "Seven Songs for Amy". It's the hilarious and very lovely Olwyn Boyle.

Q: How did you first get into comic acting?

Q: How is the hunt for a man going, after your hilarious, although unsuccessful, ten week stint on TV3’s ‘Take me Out?
A: Check out “Diary of a man hunter” on youtube, you will see it’s probably still not a success
Q: What do you think of Irish men?
A: There is not enough single, good ones!!!
Q: What are the three most important things you would look for in a man?
A: Honesty, humour good family and friends.
Q: You’ve just recently filmed Celebrity Salon with (the obviously addicted to reality tv) star Calum Best. What’s he like in real life?
A: A man, a really hot one! Who you know won’t phone you back after you’re with him and you’ve fallen in love. Its too late!!!. Ha ha ah no he was really nice turns it on well for the camera but who doesn’t?
Q: Tell us about your new role as the lead in ‘Songs for Amy’ alongside Patrick Bergin.
A: I am so nervous and kind of scared I seem to be the new kid on the block in the film and that’s very intimidating. I can’t wait to get started and learn from some of the best. It will be a great experience regardless.
Q: Have you started filming?
A: We are due to start in august and start rehearsals in July
Q: When / Where will we see it?
A: I have no idea just yet….hopefully Hollywood! or in my stocking from Santa at Christmas
Q: What TV shows are on your ‘sky plus’ planner?
A: Four weddings (I live in hope), Take me out (the English one, they get a better prize), My big fat gypsy wedding (all in the name of preparation for the role of course)

Q: Music on your ipod right now….
A: “Got my lipstick on na na na” …. Go on the boys! Honestly I cant work my iPhone properly so I use the radio apps !!!
Q: Your style would best be described as…….
A: All over the shop, don’t really know how to answer this question as I have lost 8 stone in the last year and due to that I don’t really know where I am going in the area of style, I LOVE shopping I LOVE Clothes but I just don’t know what exactly would be best to describe me.
Q: Who would you describe as a style icon?
A: Jedward! After all, they make their own clothes, and we are in a recession!
Q: How do you start a typical day?
A: Rolling out of bed wishing I could have 10 more minutes asleep
Q: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure?
A: Ice cream and Twitter !!!! At the same time !
Q: Top of your wish list right now is ….
A: To find a nice guy, buy a nice house and to have a job that makes me and others happy
