Emir Irwin O Shea (from Killorglin) and Carol Kennelly (from Tralee) scooped the top style awards at the Dawn Dairies Ladies Day in Killarney, County Kerry, on Thursday 15th of July.  Judged by top model Rosanna Davison and well known TV personality, Daithi O Se, ladies day at Killarney attracted huge crowds from all over Ireland, and beyond, and ended the popular four-day festival meeting (12th - 15th July) on a super stylish high note! www.goracingkillarney.com

All PR & Event Management for the Dawn Daries Ladies Day at the Killarney Races was carried out by Orla, Chloe and Lisa from Upfront Pr.

Emir was chosen as the Dawn Dairies Queen of Fashion 2010 for her glamorous cream  satin and blush silk dress  (far left) with matching coat, crowned with an amazing feathered swan and flower angel wing headpiece. Emir’s entire outfit, including the head piece, was designed her sister Clodagh Irwin Owens. Emer and Clogadh are well known in the fashion industry as joint owners of top boutique, Envy, Killarney.

Milliner, Carol Kennelly, was declared the winner of the Dawn Dairies Most Stylish Hat award 2010 and won a luxury escape to the Radisson Blu, St Helens in Dublin plus a specially commissioned vase. Carol’s vibrant pink butterfly inspired creation captivated the judges’ attention and stood out for them from the glorious selection of colourful hats and headpieces on display at the races.

First runner up was Caoimhe Willis from Killarney, whose wide brimmed hat with red roses from her own garden, showed originality and imagination. Caoimhe received a specially commissioned vase.
