Social Snaps from the Hennessy Gold Cup Best Dressed
VIPs & Special Guests Entertained at the Hennessy Gold Cup, Leopardstown
The first stylish event in the Irish social calendar, the Hennessy Gold Cup, once again welcomed its characteristically-eclectic variety of guests, bringing people together from the worlds of music and film, sport, fashion and the arts. This year marked the 20th running of the Hennessy Gold Cup, a milestone event in the history of Irish racing.
The fashion stakes were higher than ever this year as stylish ladies donned their most glamorous outfits in the hope of winning the Best Dressed Competition in association with The Design Centre. The competition was judged this year by a panel including Irish Milliner, Philip Treacy; Ashling Kilduff of The Design Centre; Caroline Sleiman, Market Development Manager, Moet Hennessy; and Annmarie O’Connor, fashion blogger and journalist, who had the unenviable task of choosing just one winner and one runner-up from the hundreds of elegant ladies in attendance. Charmaine Kenny from Athy, Co. Kildare won the overall prize of a €4,000 voucher for The Design Centre, while runner-up, Aishling Barry from Cavan claimed a voucher worth €1,000.
