Dublin Fashion Festival 2011 launch

Fashion Folk gathered in the Westin Hotel last week to launch the 2011 Dublin Fashion Festival, which takes place from 8th to 11th September 2011. The models were wearing a selection of items from stores participating in the festival, including Brown Thomas, Jervis, Clearys, Arnotts, Debenhams and the Ilac Centre.

Over the course of the festival weekend, stores will be transformed into a playground for fashionistas who can enjoy a whole host of fun fashion activities throughout participating stores such as complimentary personal shopping services and makeovers, hair and make-up demonstrations, live DJs in stores, special discounts, style advice services and much more.
Hosted by this year’s Face of the Festival, Sonya Lennon, the Dublin Fashion Festival is the brainchild of Dublin City Business Improvement District (BID). Dublin City Business Improvement District represents over 2,500 businesses in the city centre and works with its partners to enhance the appeal of the city centre as a place for shopping, recreation and business development; by increasing footfall and improving overall trading performance.
