Avon Empowerment Ring supporting Womens Aid.

For the second year running, beauty giant Avon continues its partnership with Women’s Aid through the launch of an exclusive empowerment ring. This year’s ring features the infinity symbol representing a future of infinite possibility for women and is launched shortly to mark International Women’s Day (March 8th).

This is all part of a global Avon campaign called ‘Speak Out Against Domestic Violence’. It is designed to encourage women to ‘break the silence’ that surrounds this issue, by confiding in friends and family and seeking help from organisations such as Women’s Aid. The global campaign is backed by actress Reese Witherspoon who is honorary chairman of the Avon Foundation.

The ring costs €4.50 and can be purchased through a network of independent Avon sales Representatives all over the country (100 per cent of the profits of sale will go to domestic violence charities including Women’s Aid). To see an Avon brochure or find your nearest Representative please call 01 870 6540 or visit www.avon.ie
