Shop and Drop Service in Dublin

So to all you busy, bustling Dublin shoppers, did you know you have a fab shop 'n drop service for the xmas shopping period? Dublin City Business Improvement District has extended the opening hours of its Shop and Drop free bag-minding service to include Thursday, 22nd and Friday, 23rd December. Shop and Drop allows shoppers to drop off cumbersome shopping bags at locations in the GPO Arcade on Henry Street and on the top floor of the St. Stephen’s Green shopping centre, to be stored completely free of charge.

Their Christmas bounty can then be picked up that day or at a later date. As an extra Christmas bonus, An Post will deliver shopping right to their door for no additional charge. An Post Delivery will not be offered for Thursday, 22nd and Friday, 23rd December, however, shoppers can store their shopping conveniently  in the Shop and Drop facilities until 5pm on Friday 23rd.

A key benefit of this handy service is that shoppers can use one of the city’s great public transport options, such as Dublin Bus without being laden down with shopping bags.

The Shop and Drop service is available from Thursdays through to Mondays until Monday, 19th December (Mondays open for collection only) and now on Thursday, 22nd and Friday, 23rd December.

For information and opening hours of Shop and Drop and a list of great things to do over the Christmas period in the city, check out Dublin City Business Improvement District’s Christmas website www.dublinatchristmas.ie.
