Fancy Attending a Live in BOOTCAMP?
Have you ever sat down watching 'Operation Transformation' or one of those similar weight loss, better lifestyle, shows and wished you had someone to boss you around in the same way; someone to encourage you out of bed in the mornings, get you moving and keep you active - but without the cameras? Well, 'Re-Fit Yourself' offers you just that! It's a live in Bootcamp! I love the idea of a whole week of dedicated training, meal plans, nutritional advice and your food being specially prepared and handed to you. It all sounds great right?
Your bootcamp stay can last for three, five or six days, depending on your current fitness level and each day at Refit Yourself will consist of between four and seven hours of training. This will include a range of exercise methods including cycling, walking, circuit training, self defence classes, hiking, team games, boxing for fitness, stretching and jogging, to get you moving and give you a sample of which will work best for you when you leave.
The programme incorporates workshops on nutrition by Enda Kennedy (that's Kennedy, in case you skimmed that quickly and thought our Taoiseach was moonlighting) of the Irish Heart Foundation and talks on how to incorporate regular exercise into your daily routine when you leave the camp. And as I mentioned, while attending the bootcamp, you will also be provided with all your meals and snacks, which have been planned by Enda, leaving you free to concentrate on giving your workouts your full attention.
Sergeant Mick Mulcahey from RTE’s hit TV show Operation Transformation helped design the Refit Yourself programmes and will attend a selection of Refit Yourself Programmes as a guest instructor.
