Daytime TV on RTE Finally Announced

So the announcement of the new Autumn Schedule for RTE has ended the debates that have been rampant surrounding the demise of The Afternoon Show and what would arrive in it’s place. So the announcement is that a new show called  ‎'Four Live' will be hosted by Maura Derrane and will broadcast Monday to Fridays, 4pm-4.50pm.
'Four Live', is set to be an information-packed show with everything from food to fashion, medical to maternity, finance to feeling good and of course viewers personal stories. Sounds good!

THEN, ‘The Daily Show' will take over from 4.50pm on weekdays with Dáithí O’Sé and Claire Byrne taking us into early evening with all the day's news, views and talking points. Now this we are very excited about because we are HUGE Claire Byrne fans here – indeed we are regular early morning listeners to her current Newstalk Breakfast show and will miss her greatly – but are looking forward to watching her on TV instead.
