Armagh Use ‘Another Avenue' To Celebrate Christmas!

Dublin based production company, Another Avenue brought Armagh to the attention of thousands of shoppers with a seven minute animated light show extravaganza on Market Square in Armagh which has now become a you tube hit with over 16,000 hits.

Irish companies Another Avenue and AVTEK brought their creative minds together to create the spectacular light show to celebrate Georgian Day at Market Square on 29th November.  Four thousand spectators came that evening to watch the show being projected onto the City Library in Armagh City Centre, but since another 16,000 plus have watched it on line with another six thousand attending a second show on (December 15th) which was put on due to demand.  Commissioned by Armagh City and District Council, they were given a brief to create something energetic, exciting and elegant and they certainly delivered.

The light show was projected onto the City Library and had a Georgian theme with a lot more added to it.  See it for yourself here! The animation was done on various software packages on apple computers including cinema 4D, after effects, motion, and then all put together on Final Cut Pro with the final package being projected onto the building by AVTEK.
