Nations Favourite Hairdresser Announced!
The wait is finally over and Ireland’s Favourite Hairdresser can now be revealed! It’s Annie Power, (pictured left) from New Images Salon in Dungarvan, Co Waterford. She has been chosen as the Ireland winner in the Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser Awards, sponsored by head & shoulders.
Hundreds of hairstylists throughout the country were nominated by grateful clients and a panel of expert judges including Mellissa Brown, the head & shoulders brand ambassador who also lists Take That, Dannii Minogue and Davina MCCall as her clients whittled down the numbers to five Ireland finalists.
So now, although we know who OUR favourite hairdresser is, 'The Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser Award', which is an Ireland and UK event, next travels to the UK for the next leg of the competition to find out the overall winner. So Annie will now travel to London with her sister Helen Power (pictured left) who was selected as her person who nominated her. The Grand Final will be held on Friday, June 20th where Annie will compete with 8 other finalists for the overall title of Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser. The judges will be looking on at their hair cutting and styling skills plus their relationship with their clients.
What does the overall winner of the Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser Award win?
The Overall winner - (the hairdresser) gets:
- A Photo shoot with Cosmopolitan magazine at a venue in London with their client who nominated them (including lunch / travel / accommodation*), £2,000, NFHA glass inscribed award, Professional hairdressing scissors, A year’s supply of head & shoulders Colour Care shampoo and conditioner.
And, the overall winner’s client gets:
- To feature in the photo shoot with Cosmopolitan magazine in London with their winning hairdresser (including lunch / travel / accommodation*), £1,000 to spend on a year’s worth of hairdressing appointments with their winning hairdresser, A year’s supply of head & shoulders Colour Care shampoo and conditioner
