Tamzin Outhwaite named as the new face of Garnier Belle Color
When I read that Tamzin Outhwaite had been announced as the new face (and hair) of Garnier Belle Color, I was duly impressed because I think she is actually a really clever choice for this......and no, it's not because she 'has great hair' (though to be fair, I'm sure that is one of the pre-requisites to starring in a hair campaign) in my opinion, she was an ideal choice because of what she represents to women. She represents beauty but with brains, hardwork, success and strength. Indeed, one thing that was common to a lot of Tamzin's on screen roles, be it in Eastenders or in the BBC Drama Hotel Babylon to name only two, was her strength of character. She was ALWAYS savvy, strong and sexy... my three favourite S words! Do you remember her as the smart wife of Steve Owen in Eastenders? She was stylish, fierce and a force to be reckoned with.... I know of many women who have really admired her over the years.
The new Garnier Belle Color advert shows Tamzin reflecting on pictures of her hair at various stages in her life before announcing that natural-looking hair colour is her new discovery. Modelling shade 9.3 she delights in the soft, conditioned look of her Garnier Belle Color hair makeover.
Tamzin joins Davina McCall as a specially appointed UK Spokesmodel for Garnier and will appear in Television and Press advertising for Garnier Belle Color.
