Mayo Hair Stylist named as Irish Hairdresser of the Year 2011

Louise Jordan is named as the Irish Hairdresser of the Year 2011 at the recent Hair and Beauty Expo in the RDS.

Mayo Hairstylist Louise Jordan, from Ballina was named as the IHF Irish Hairdresser of the Year 2011 at the IHF National Hairdressing Championships and OMC European  Championships in  Hair & Beauty. Louise competed in such categories as Fantasy, Day style and full fashion and was awarded a Gold OMC medal in the Senior Day Style category and Senior trend cut category.

Hosted by the Irish Hairdressers Federation, the National Hairdressing Championships was the much anticipated annual event where hair stylists from Ireland come to showcase their creativity and skill and compete for the prestigious Irish Hairdresser of the Year Award. The National Hairdressing Championships took place in the RDS, Dublin alongside the OMC European Championships, a two-day hair and beauty championships that attracted400 of the world’s top stylists from 24 countries to compete for the prestigious OMC trophies

Running alongside the IHF Hairdressing Championships and the Hair and Beauty Expo 2011, it was the first time for this significant global competition to take place in Ireland. For more information on the OMC Champtionships see www.omcireland.com
