Exactly What is the 8 / 12 Week Blow-Dry?
We’ve been listening to lots of ‘fashionable folk in the know’, raving about the 8 / 12 week blow-dry and we decided we needed to know more about it ourselves. Thankfully, hair expert, Julie MacDonald, from Wilde Hair Salon in Donnybrook, was more that happy to talk us through it.
What is the treatment exactly?
Well, the treatment does not use any strong chemicals which can damage your hair.
It is made up of Keratin, which is a natural substance that makes up almost 90% of your hair. The treatment penetrates the hair, actually repairing internal damage and coats the hair preventing any further damage. When in the salon, the intense treatment is applied to the hair section by section. What are the results?
For the 12 week blow-dry you have to leave your hair for 3 days and wash on the 4th and when the hair is washed it will allow the client to achieve salon like hair with minimum effort. For the 8 week blow-dry your hair is ready upon leaving the salon!
The finished effect is completely smooth, sleek, finished hair and you literally can sit at home and go over your hair air drying it and its done! It takes all the labour out of doing or attempting to do it yourself! Also it is a natural treatment, so when the product wears off in 3-4 months the hair will return to its original form.And the cost?
