'Check' it out!!

WIth check patterns appearing on a lot of celebs at the moment, you might want to incorporate some tartan fun into your own looks this spring summer. The rule of thumb for any pattern as statmemt making as check, is not to overdo it. If you are wearing a check dress or check shirt, don't have 'check overkill' by planting a pair of check shoes and a check hat on as well! The wisest way to treat this trend is always only wear ONE check item at a time. Here are a couple of high street examples of check fun

This is a lovely simply longline check shirt which can be worn as a shirt-dress. It comes from Heatons and is only €18

This is a bikini but can be worn underneath your clothes too, perhaps peeping out from a nice white crisp blouse? Its the Floozie by Frost French Watercolour top (€28) and pants (€21.50) from Debenhams.

Scarves are a wonderful and simple way of incorporating a cool pattern. This check scarf is cute and lightweight and comes from Marks and Spencer for €20
