AWWW The Centra Beanie!

So cute and very cosy! It's the Centra Beanie for Action Breast cancer which arrived in the post this week. I've already worn it and it really is seriously warm - bring on that hard winter I say!! Now I feel super prepared... (well, from the neck up at least...) Anyway, you can get your hands on one too and of course you will be supporting action breast cancer by doing so. You see, following on from a hugely successful pink mitten campaign last year Centra seem set to continue their efforts to keep the nation cosy with these exclusive pink beanie hats which are going on sale in Centra stores nationwide for just €5. Last year Centra sold 55,000 pink mittens across its stores raising an astonishing €400,000 for Action Breast Cancer in the process. Available for kids and adults, the hats are designed with the highest quality wool and all proceeds are going to Action Breast Cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Ireland and women have a 1 in 10 chance of developing breast cancer during the course of their lifetime. The lastest data from the NCRI shows that 2,766 people were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.
