Spinning Rings - Yay or Nay?
Spinning Jewellery – The Ring Stacking Sensation!
So it's meant to be one of the hottest jewellery trends for 2010 - ring stacking has already been spotted on celebs such as Sienna Miller, Lindsay Lohan and Abby Lee but now we are actually beginning to see more of it on the high street too. So are we Yay or Nay for this stacking trend?
To be fair it all felt a bit gimmicky to us at first and we weren't overly excited by the idea of a 'pick n mix' type of approach to what ring we would don on a given day - however the more we see of it, the more we are, perhaps, beginning to like it. Maybe it's because this approach allows you to be exactly as indulgent as you want to be depending on your mood and your outfit. If you're feeling kind of grungy and a little bit like making a statment, then you can stack on multiple rings of your choice.
Spinning Jewelry rings come in sterling silver and 9 carat gold and use semi precious stones. Kind of like the charm bracelet phenomenon, spinning jewelry rings can be bought individually to get the look each wearer is aiming for. And the fact that there is such a huge range to choose from means that if you like, no two looks need be the same.
So are we Yay or Nay? We are YAY because the rings aren't super expensive and they have ranges to suit all pockets! The sterling silver rings are priced from €19-€49 and the 9 carat Gold rings go from €89-€149.
Spinning Rings are available in a number of well-known jewellers nationwide. A full list of stockists can be found on www.spinningjewelry.dk or indeed you can buy them online also.
