Beyonce Knowles designs Obama campaign shirt

Beyonce Knowles has designed a T-shirt to raise money for President Obama's re-election campaign.

The 'Crazy in Love' singer - who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy on Saturday (07.01.12) - is one of 22 people to get involved in the Runway to Win campaign by creating a garment.

Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles - who manages the star's House of Dereon clothing line - collaborated on the design for the crew neck top, which is embellished with many slogans and phrases associated with the president, including 'Yes we can'.

Other people lending their support to the initiative - which has been spearheaded by US Vogue editor Anna Wintour - include Russell Simmons, Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Diane von Fursternberg and P. Diddy.

Many of the designers were involved in the 2008 Runway to Change campaign.

However, Maria Cornejo, Charles Nolan, Zac Posen, Nanette Lepore, Lutz & Patmos, Juicy Couture, Isaac Mizrahi, Brian Reyes, and Jeffery Costello and Robert Tagliapietra participated in Runway to Change but are not involved in Runway to Win.

The items are available for pre-order now, with Beyonce's t-shirt retailing at $45.

The garments officially go on sale online February 7.
