Electric Picnic 1920s twist
It’s almost time to get dig out your wellies and grapple with a tent for the final festival of the year, Electric Picnic, taking place next weekend in Stradbally. I absolutely can’t wait! As well as going for the music, fun and frolicks that a festival brings, many people love to experiment with their style at festivals and even use it as an excuse to dress up in all sorts of weird and wonderful attire. Well, this year, thanks to Bacardi, a 1920’s Costume party will be held in the Bacardi B-Live Arena on the Sunday afternoon from 2pm, offering fashionistas a chance to embrace the Roarding twenties trend.
Picnickers are invited to don their best 1920s looks, from feathered headbands to elegant fringed and flapper dresses. Team a slick bobbed hairstyle with your wellies to turn heads at the picnic, while men can get in on the act in with vintage sportswear.
The themed costume party promises to be an afternoon of fun and fashion with those getting into the vintage spirit will be treated to a complimentary Bacardi Mojito, while being photographed and judged by the Bacardi judges. The best costume will then be presented with a shopping voucher worth €500 and a Bacardi Mojito Kit! The ‘Roaring Twenties’ was all about celebrating social, artistic and cultural dynamism as well as a pivotal time for fashion, and a golden era for cocktails. The winner will be announced on Monday, 6th September on Bacardi Ireland's Facebook Page.
See you there!
