A|wear shoe collection now in store...
The long anticipated shoe range from A|wear has finally landed in store, currently they are in six selected stores across the country at the mo and online at www.awear.com. I was in the Grafton street store today and had myself a little mooch! By no means groundbreaking, but a good price range and there are a few finds in there... Prices range from €45 for ballet pumps and go up for €149 for leather boots.
I would imagine the best is yet to come, considering this is the first collection! Although, I gotta say, I find generally with A|wear, that frustratingly there can be a lack of consistency through the seasons with them, sometimes you can pick up a cracker of a dress and other days I can leave un inspired and empty handed- time will tell if their shoe range will be the same. What I will say is when they do get it right, it’s normally bang on and really well priced, much cheaper than other competitors like River Island & Topshop... Plus, the Autumn/ Winter shoe range definitely ticks many of the current trend boxes, from feathers to shearling, studs and buckle details...
Speaking on the launch of the new range, A|wear Brand CEO, Annmarie Flood said “Shoes are currently the number one search item on the A|wear website & the one product that our customer has on her wishlist, so we’re delighted to be adding footwear into the A|wear portfolio this season. I’ve personally overseen the development of this collection & each pair has been bought with our A|wear girl in mind, promising to deliver on not just must have fashion statement pieces but also on quality & affordability.”
Particularly yum are the Leather ankle boots with fur detailing, and they have a divine pale pink sandal platform with feather detail, which would be perfect for a night on the town ( I refuse to say for Christmas parties, cuz I’m just not ready for the Crimbo mayhem yet!!!) Another fav I spotted was an open toe studded shoe boot in jet black and teal!!
The collection is available now in A|wear Grafton St, Henry St, Dundrum, Patrick St Cork, Waterford, Castlebar & www.awear.com
