Current obsession, any item of clothing heart related. I go through obsessive phases, had an obsession with anything beige, turquoise, burnt orange, high waisted etc etc ( Rebecca O’Reilly can concur) and have always had a wee penchant for heart-designed clothing, dresses with a bandeau sweetheart neckline have always been a favorite, a girly and flattering shape that all women should try on. Basically any top with that sort of feminine heart print or shape to subtly give a nice female chest effect to a top or dress. Its tongue in cheek without being trashy or extrovert.
They seem to be everywhere right now, my two most recent purchases are the above tee, bought from Miss Selfride (heart that shop) to make it even more lovable there is a 20% student discount, #WINNING. I found a lovely jumper on Asos grey angora material with a turquoise heart, but alas, was not as pretty upon arrival and will have to be exchanged…was more 6 year old child than alternative chic, perhaps exchange can go towards a graduation dress for the end of October. Grad dress stress will kick in soon, last year I re-wore my 21st gúna so was all sorted, I’m thinking something wine colored this time, the whole wine and teal Autumn colour palate really appeals to me this weather.
Speaking of weather, we are getting some belated rays today, lovely to see it! Even better I am heading off to Sidari on Friday for a week of sun, so excited, first ever sun holiday. Going to pack tonight, bright colours a plenty, maxi’s and playsuits, sandles and wedges, bandeau tops and light kinomo’s… will be bliss, I hope! Will update after hols to let people know how Corfu adventures went :)
