The Importance of Having Baby Oil in your Make up Bag

We all know that baby oil is like a 'super hero' product when it comes to moisturising your skin, helping to take off certain stubborn make up products or just for being really gentle when you need it to be  - it's loved for its versatility. But in case you weren't familair with just all  the many ways that JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil can be the perfect product to keep you looking and feeling beautiful, we thought we'd remind you.  I (ed) use baby oil a LOT and it sits pride of place on my dressing table; always within reach in emergencies etc and when I heard that JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil had teamed up with celebrity make-up artist, Jo Gillingwater, (who has created feminine girly looks on the likes of Kate Moss and Cameron Diaz), in order to outline some baby oil tips, I knew we had to bring them to you.

So, according to Jo Gillingwater, JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil "...should be an essential in any girl’s beauty cabinet". Yep, she says that it is "the must-have summer product for creating the season’s popular “romantic” look and it’s affordable, so you can make the most of it from head to toe, without worrying about breaking the bank.”  All very true!

TIP 1: For a natural dewy look “a la Natalie Portman” smudge JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil on the eyelid to highlight the eyes and brow bone.

TIP 2: Mix JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil with a light body shimmer to highlight your collar bone and décolletage.

TIP 3: With summer on the horizon, dare to bare your legs with a little help from JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil.  It locks in ten times more moisture when applied to wet skin than many other lotions and creams on dry skin, making skin look fresh with a healthy looking glow. Perfect for showing off your pins in a floaty summer dress.

TIP 4: Used sparingly JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil can be used to keep unruly eyebrows and strays of hair in place for a soft, romantic look. A dab of oil rubbed between your fingers can tame tendrils that frame and soften your face.

TIP 5: Mix a little JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil with a cream blusher or bronzer and apply lightly to cheekbones to create a feminine glow.

So now you know! It's a beauty secret shared. And the fact that it's very reasonably priced AND lasts for ages, are just two more mega bonuses. Johnsons Baby Oil, RRP €1.48 100ml

Also available in the range; JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil with Aloe Vera; JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil Gel with Camomile & JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil Bedtime
