CATRICE Make Up -The Review
Welcome to wonderland! It's a make up love affair - and easy on the pocket too! It's the new Limited Edition “Enter Wonderland” make up range by CATRICE and I am pleasantly surprised to be experiencing a warm, fuzzy, rather impressed feeling - and that's just from looking at it through the frosted plastic of my make up bag! And yes, it offers the same sensations on application too!
CATRICE, now growing considerably in popularity in Ireland, is the sister brand to the somewhat teen brand Essence. But CATRICE is aimed at a slightly older market and it shows. Everything about the brand from the packaging to the colour choices suggests that it's perhaps a 'slightly' more mature brand. In fact, although the range is really reasonably priced, a lot of the products, especially some of the new range lipsticks and indeed the foundation, exude an almost 'plush' feeling as you hold them in your hands. When applying there was simply nothing negative that I could find to mention. I found the foundation went on really smoothly and lasted for ages on the skin. The samples I got were ever so slightly darker than my milk bottle pale skin so I didnt use the foundation too often and am hoping that it has a lighter foundation product in the range - which I genuinely will purchase if it exists (I'm looking into it as we speak) The lipsticks glide on and have great colour impact. The intensive colors and glamorous platinum shimmer was simply divine.
